Just a quick thank you to DelightfullySimple and Heavenly for including my photos "Winter" and "Red Door" in their beautiful etsy treasuries "Simply Wonderful!" and "...Doors...". "Simply Wonderful!" is filled with the moodiest, loveliest icey blues and misty greys. "...Doors..." is filled with, what else but art featuring doors, keys and gates. It finally happened!
One of my photos has been published!
I am a featured artist in the online magazine All Things Girl. The magazine features female artists, musicians, writers, etc.
As those of you who know me (and my work) have no doubt noticed, the photo selected is atypical of my work...but i dig it none the less, and I'm very proud that others appreciate it as well. Thank you to the editors of All Things Girl for including me along side such talented women!

It began almost two weeks ago. I started my car and turned on the radio. Billy Idol's "Rebel Yell" was playing. For the next week and a half each and every time I turned on the radio my ears were greeted with "Rebel Yell." For the remainder of the week it alternated between the completely annoying "Mony Mony" and "Eyes Without A Face."

Was it Billy Idol's birthday or is the cosmos trying to give me the weirdest sign ever...?

For reasons unbeknownst to me, my cat adores penguin documentaries. He will sit, wide-eyed, in front of the television with his tail flicking to and fro. He is fascinated by them...riveted. When the documentary ends he stands, stretches with a yawn and leaves the room. I wonder what the attraction is...
